Hygeia is the Greek goddess of health and the keeper of dreams. Her priestesses presided over dream rituals where the patrons sleep in the temple hoping for a healing dream. Being the granddaughter of Apollo, Hygeia¹s lineage that of the healing arts.

Hygeia cleanses the patient psychically and spiritually to aid in the healing process. Hygeia is the goddess within each of us who knows the grace of being healthy. Goddess Hygeia's sacred animal is the serpent, for it holds the secrets of the causes and cures for all illness.

Wax: This goddess essential oil pillar candle home decor uses a paraffin wax that has the lowest crude content for it’s melting point, chosen for it’s consistency in mottling, it’s reaction to fragrance and it’s burn quality. The wax is food grade paraffin with a crude content of less than .03%.
